Medical infrastructure

The best possible treatment requires the best possible infrastructure. Our operating theatres offer both our patients and our specialists state-of-the-art technology in a pleasant atmosphere. In addition to the modern standard equipment required for every operating theatre, we also offer a powerful navigation system for prosthetics and spinal surgery.

Operating theatre and recovery room

Surgical interventions are performed in 5 large constructed operating theatres in compliance with the highest quality and hygiene standards. Our operating theatre has a modern, state-of-the-art infrastructure. For anaesthesia, generous induction and post-anaesthesia care facilities are provided. Furthermore, we have our own modernised AEMP - reprocessing unit for medical products. Short and efficient paths are a matter of course for us.

Our patients are closely monitored in the operating theatre and cared for by a well-coordinated and experienced surgical anaesthesia team. Our bright post-operative monitoring ward with its pleasant ambience can accommodate up to 6 patients.

Intensive Care Unit IPS and Intermediate Care IMC

After certain procedures, a temporary stay in our intensive care unit (IPS/IMC) is necessary. A highly trained and competent team cares for the patients at 3 IPS places with the possibility of ventilation. Patients are closely monitored at 4 intermediate care IMC places until they are transferred back to the normal nursing ward.

Premises

The anaesthesia centre is located in the immediate vicinity of the operating theatres, the intensive care unit (ICU), the intermediate care unit (IMC), the recovery room and the emergency ward, so that rapid access to anaesthesia is guaranteed. Each place is equipped with a monitoring system, which ensures continuous monitoring.

The recovery room is supervised by a specially trained team, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff in the recovery room, as well as on the intermediate care and intensive care wards, are trained in Advanced Basic Life Support (ABLS).

The emergency room is located in its own premises, where patients are admitted around the clock – provided they have registered by telephone. We cannot treat children because we do not have a paediatric department.

Nursing ward 1st & 2nd floor

On our nursing wards, patients are cared for around the clock by highly trained health care specialists, HF nursing specialists and nursing assistants.
